Tour Program

Your expert guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo around 6:00 AM for the drive to Alexandria.

Begin your tour at the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a unique necropolis consisting of three underground levels dating back to the 2nd century AD. Admire the fascinating blend of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman architectural styles, including statues, reliefs, and the ancient Roman banquet hall.

Continue to the Library of Alexandria, now home to over 8 million books. Stroll through its open courtyard and view the statues of Alexander the Great and Ptolemy I, discovered underwater near the ancient harbor.

Next, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

Afterward, head to the beautiful Montaza Gardens and Montaza Palace, once a royal residence. Admire the Mediterranean coastline and panoramic views along the way, passing the old harbor where more than 7,000 ancient artifacts were found underwater.
